Today when I first booted up my computer, I got a message that Tiles expired.  I even paid $10 for additional features for a product that I thought was indefinite.  Does that mean i'll have to buy Tiles AND the features over again?  If so, Stardock's ripping me off.  Or do I just buy the program and all of my paid features will still be there?

A few weeks back, I discovered by chance a combination of two different products which combined to be quite tasty (and quite a kick too).  As an experiment, I combined MioEnergy Green Thunder and PowerPak Electrolyte packs to make a healthier alternative to an energy drink but without sacrificing the kick.  Here is a picture I took.

So, you might be thinking that because it lacks carbs, sugar, and calories that it's some kind of diet energy drink, right?  Wrong.  Well, kin...

Here at WinCustomize, our objective is to stand out from other people, whether it be skinning, icons, logons, etc.  Something I do every year that very few people in the world attempt to make, is their own custom calendar (without templates and from scratch).  I have been doing this since 2004.  And my 2012 design is surely to stand out from all other calendars out there.  Most calendars are square-based, right?  Not mine.  I've decided to innovate and improve upon ...

This concept sounds simple; installing and running program on a USB Flash Drive. But how many people actually do it?  Most people install programs on their local hard disk; mainly in the "Program Files" directory, which is fine until you run out of disk space.

I've discovered a way to install virtually any software on any USB Drive without using a special U3 flash drive or 3rd party software.  All you have to do is change the installation di...

Got birthdays, anniverseries, business meetings, appointments, and the like? We all like to write down events on our calendars, but the problem is that my new 2009 calendar's dates don't have any room to write any events down. That's why i'm adding a new "Events Bar" on the bottom of the calendar. Up to three custom events can be edited via Word Document.

I'm also adding new orange tiles for days 1-31, so it'll be easy to spot what day an important event is on. I pre-made WordArt messag...

All of us have a calendar installed on our PCs, whether it be Windows, Rainlendar, or others. But what about calendars you can hang on your wall? I admit rainlendar has some pretty cool skins, but using Microsoft Word, and Paint.NET, I'm starting to create a new 2009 calendar set. It's silver & blue, and uses the power of Paint.NET to create custom effects, such as Drop Shadows, Glows, Reflections, and high-quality 32-bit PNG images instead of boring solid, gradient, or patterned backgrounds....

If there is one key on the keyboard that I can't live without, it's the PrintScreen key. It's my personal favorite, and probably the most powerful key for web and graphic designers. It allows images created from other programs which don't have image saving capabilities (such as Microsoft Office programs) to be outputted onto the Clipboard. Importing images is a snap. Just open your favorite image editor and click "Paste". (I personally use MS Paint or Paint.NET)

More than likely, you don'...
